Ingredients : Imumax 300 mcg injection is a prescription medicine used mainly to increase white blood cells (WBC) in the body. It contains the drug filgrastim, which stimulates the bone marrow to produce more infectionfighting cells. Uses Doctors commonly give Imumax 300 mcg injection for: Preventing infection after chemotherapy for cancer Treating neutropenia (low white blood cell count) Recovery after bone marrow transplant Low WBC in HIV patients Stem cell donation preparation How it works It acts like a granulocyte colonystimulating factor (GCSF). It stimulates the bone marrow to produce more neutrophils (a type of white blood cell). More neutrophils help the body fight infections better.
